A.I. Revolution Screening and Discussion

Join educators from across the region for an evening of learning and conversation. We’ll screen NOVA’s A.I. Revolution at Nine PBS studios and hear from a panel of experts in a discussion focusing on the use of Artificial Intelligence in education .

With your help, we will broaden the conversation on the impact of A.I. in schools and ask the questions:

Should we celebrate?

Or worry? Or both?

Discover how researchers are harnessing A.I. to pursue breakthroughs in fields ranging from medicine to climate science—and what these advancements might mean for the future of teaching, learning, and the workforce.

Join fellow educators and education advocates for a powerful documentary and an insightful dialogue about the promise and challenges of artificial intelligence in our classrooms and beyond.

This event is presented by Innovative Technology Education Fund, Connected Learning, and Nine PBS.

For Ahkeem - Screening and Discussion

Join Connected Learning and St. Louis Public Library for a screening of an amazing film and discussion.  In the film For Ahkeem, after a school fight lands 17-year old Daje Shelton in a court-supervised alternative high school, she's determined to turn things around and make a better future for herself in her rough St. Louis neighborhood. But focusing on school is tough as she loses multiple friends to gun violence, falls in love for the first time, and becomes pregnant with a boy, Ahkeem, just as Ferguson erupts a few miles down the road. Through Daje's intimate coming-of-age story, For Ahkeem illuminates challenges that many Black teenagers face in America today, and witnesses the strength, resilience, and determination it takes to survive.
